Hello Highliners! This coming Tuesday Highline will be hosting the wonderful Ralfe Band, Piney Gir and Correatown at the Lexington in London! Tickets are a mere 7 pound in advance and can be purchased through Eventbrite and WeGotTickets. Come on down for an excellent time!

Ralfe Band dazzle listeners with their infectious folk influenced songs, vivid surreal lyrics and classical and gypsy inspired instrumentals. The band’s debut album Swords from 2007 and follow up Attic Thieves in 2009 received glowing reviews. The band have appeared in the Mighty Boosh and their recent soundtrack to Paul King’s film Bunny and the Bull was widely acclaimed. Freshly out of the studio, the band are gearing up to release thei

r third studio album in 2013.Raised in Kansas and not allowed to listen to secular music during her childhood, Piney Gir kicked off her church shoes to sing rock ‘n’ roll music, and has since drawn comparisons to Jenny Lewis and Nancy Sinatra. The release of Geronimo! in the UK has firmly established her as an indie pop starlet. UNCUT gave the album four stars while The Sun called it “undeniably charming.” Q Magazine called it “exuberant, bursts with joy divine”. Piney’s album will be out on Highline Records in the USA in October.

Correatown is the ethereal indie dreampop project of Angela Correa. Based in LA, Correa blends a homespun, DIY aesthetic into her beautiful songs. Her album Pleiades is out in August on Highline Records and has already gained support from The Guardian, Rob Da Bank and Lauren Laverne.
